Patricia Pollock

Patricia Grames Pollock was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, but she spent most of her life in southern New Jersey before moving to Tennessee in 1993. She currently lives in a log home in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains with her husband, Chuck, a retired Delta Airlines employee, and their dogs.

Patricia’s first book, a historical novel titled Royal Savage, was published in 1980, written under the pseudonym Selwyn Anne Grames, and was a NY Times best seller. She has also had several articles on various subjects published by newspapers such as the New York Times and is currently a special features writer for the Daily Times in Maryville, Tennessee.

When she is not writing, Patricia is a local volunteer working with therapy dogs. She has a special interest in wolves, calling herself a “self-confessed wolf freak.” She is also an avid hockey fan and is proud of the hockey stories she has covered for the Maryville Daily Times.
