I was born in rural North Carolina and traveled around the country growing up. Lived in a sailboat for a while, reading and writing, the wind rocking me to sleep at night, the splash of dolphins and the moon and stars bright on the still waters. Finally, I set my anchor in South Florida where the summers are sultry and the winters are bearable, and I can write outside most of the year.
